On celebrating the 20th Anniversary of CCTC,China Circuit Technology (Shantou) Corporation (CCTC), it is a good point to review the path of its growth.

CCTC is a joint venture invested and held by Guangdong Goworld Co., Ltd. and Shanhua Development Co., Ltd., Hong Kong. It is specialized in multi-layer printed circuit boards with high precision and density. It was established on Mar.21,1985. Through over 20-year development, CCTC has been in the rank of "China's large-scale Enterprises" , "Guangdong Provincial High-Tech Enterprises", "The Top 100 Electronics Enterprises in China" and "The Top 500 Foreign Investing Enterprises in China". It has been named as one of "China's Outstanding Foreign Investing Enterprises" and "China's Outstanding Enterprises for Exports" for many years in succession. CCTC has taken the role as the Chairman Company of CPCA (China’s Printed Circuit Association) since 1998.

CCTC is recommended by the Ministry of Information Industry of China as the sole manufacture of PCBs supporting China-made cell-phones and it bears a complete sets of up-to-date PCB manufacturing equipments, excellent technological professionals, modernized management mechanism and worldwide marketing network. All of its products have complied with IPC, IEC and American MIL standards, and achieved the Qualifications of UL , ISO9001:2000 , ISO/TS16949:2002 , ISO14000. CCTC has been awarded the first prize in China's PCBs Quality Competition and hence won the titles of "the National Quality Awards of China" and "Champion of China's PCBs". CCTC'’s products have been exported to developed countries and areas such as the United States, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and other regions.

In 2001, CCTC launched a project to construct a HDI production line which supplies PCBs for cell phone products made in China. Entering 21st century, with the rapid development of IT industry, all the PCBs related to mobile phones were imported by companies abroad. It is a key project in China to localize mobile communication products which aimed at change the above mentioned situation.

In May of 2003, HDI manufacturing line was and put into operation. In this project there are over 258 sets of advanced equipments purchased from both international and local suppliers including Laser Drill Machine, Horizontal Pulse Plating Line, Automatic Spray Coating Line and Automatic Exposing Machine. With those advanced equipments, the high density multi-layer PCB manufacturing line was set up and products have met the advanced international standard. Technical modifications and innovative improvements were made to meet the needs and requirements of the local market and the company. Enterprise Product Standard was established with reference to the advanced world level standard and all the 20 items that came out during the product trial period met the requirement of the standard and some of them even surpassed the standard. The products that are examined and scene inspected include Thinner PCB and 6-20 Layer PCB. And the results of the technical specification are Min. line width/space 50um and Min. Finished Plating Hole Diameter 200µm, which comply to the requirements designed in the manufacturing quality policy and reach the advanced world level. The qualified rate of Buried and Blind hole boards has achieved above 95.85% and the qualified rate of HDI boards has achieved above 93%.   

In this project, new products such as Thinner multi-layer boards and HDI boards were added to adjust the product structure and improve the product level. The features of the products reach the requirements of MCM-L Assembly Technology, which patch up the missing link of the PCB for Large-scale Integration Chip in local market. The products are positioned in the industry of Program Controlled Switch, Computer, Mobile Communication, First Class Digital Electronic Consuming Products and Automobile Electronic Products. Now, as an important supplier to many famous brand manufacturers with an annual capacity of 1,000,000 square meters, CCTC has become a very prestigious leader in PCB industry in China.
