Well Employ Solution Suggestion System to stimulate employee’s innovation
On December 15 2006, CCTC Plant I convened the meeting to collect solution suggestions as schedule. This kind of meeting is held monthly, the contents of which include process and efficiency improvement, morale stimulus, equipments improvement, cost savings and etc. Speakers who put forward excellent solution suggestions delivered brilliant speeches and answered the questions put forward by the audience.
Solution Suggestion System is one of the systems that CCTC has set up to stimulate employees to participate in the management, enabling them to put forward solution suggestions on every aspects of the company’s operation. Under this system, any employee who discovers a problem and finds out a solution can apply for being a solution. Once the solution suggestions are confirmed, the company will favor those rewards. The company evaluates the solution suggestions monthly and announces the excellent ones which have economic benefit and extension, or which will improve the process or stimulate the morale and etc.
It has been 3 years since the Solution Suggestion System was operative. The atmosphere for continued improvement is sound. Currently, the accumulative numbers of solution suggestions reach 50,000. Economic benefit has been achieved and employees’ awareness of problems and improvements has been enhanced. The employees’ enthusiasm of participating in the management and innovation has been instilled. The cohesion of the team has been strengthened .The system has acted as a stimulus to benefit the company.
